Racing coverage closure

On October 2008, Makisig ceased the live horse racing coverage at the San Lazaro Leisure Park. An insider claimed that the network gave a letter (via fax) to the Manila Jockey Club (MJCI, owners of SLLP) that their service will cover the live racetrack race until October 27, 2008, despite signing a three-year contract with Manila Jockey Club. The channel continued to air despite this development.

The live race is now on San Lazaro Broadcasting Network.
